Animation
Original animations I have created in Macromedia Flash MX. Animation is a very time-consuming process, but it is a 'distraction' I have greatly improved my skills in in the past few years.
Commercial work
- Zoom-Cash
-
In early 2010 I worked with Zoom-Cash to produce a 40ish second online commercial for their website and client websites. I provided character design, animation, background music and voiceover. It was a fun project and I appreciated the opportunity to work on it! May 2, 2010
Gorkwood
Gorkwood is an online webtoon that was the brainchild of myself and Drew Yahn. My contributions to this series included voice acting, animation, lipsynching, music composition and storywriting. In short, almost everything. The series never 'took off' at all and so it has been retired. Check out a full archive of the series below.
- Episode 1 - Eat your crusts
- The series begins at Canada's favorite hardware store. Cringe-worthy 'animation' but it was really some of my first work in Flash ever. February 20, 2005
- Episode 2 - Road to nowhere
- A bus ride. I don't mind admitting that this episode has terrible writing. August 23, 2005
- Happy 1st birthday! (short)
- Troy and Seth present a special birthday message. Debut of hand-drawn animation style courtesy of my Wacom tablet. February 20, 2006
- Episode 3 - Crazebook
- To avoid being left behind in the craze, Troy and Seth compete for the most friends on "Facedbook". Long episode at almost 8 minutes. Plus redesigned hand-drawn animation style that I think still holds up pretty well. This episode was written to capitalize on the (then new) Facebook craze -- but, as mentioned, still never gained any kind of popularity whatsoever. March 3, 2008
Other animation
- Run Cycle
-
Basic run cycle.
Not really much else to say about this one! August 31, 2009
